Registration and Abstract Submission:
To register for the MAM 12 Conference, please fill out the Registration Form. During registration, you will have the option to attend the conference either in person or online. Please note that all conference speakers are required to attend in person. You can use this link to submit your abstract. Please note that you may submit your abstract first and complete your registration later, as long as it is done before the "Registration by Speakers Deadline."
To prepare your abstract, please use this LaTeX template. Accepted abstracts will be included in the conference's informal proceedings. By 'informal,' we mean that we won't be obtaining an ISBN to ensure that our speakers can freely publish their work in the outlet of their choice without any hindrance from our proceedings.
Registration by at least one author and presenting a talk at the conference is the requirement for publication in the proceedings.
After the conference, speakers will have the option to submit their full papers for publication in a special issue of Performance Evaluation (PEVA). Here is the timeline for publication in the special issue:
Full paper submission: 1 November 2025
The first round of review completion: 1 March 2026
Revised manuscript due: 1 July 2026
Completion of the review process: 1 November 2026
Fees:
Partial Funding Support:
All conference attendees will pay the same fees. However, partial funding will be available through a grant from the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences. The purpose of this grant is to encourage the participation of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, women, and members of underrepresented minorities.
Please submit your application as soon as possible to be considered for funding. Applications submitted before January 31, 2025, will be given priority consideration. The first round of funding decisions will be made by February 10, 2025.
Cancellation Policy:
Refunds for conference registration are available until June 11, 2025, and refunds for the conference dinner are available until May 15, 2025. A cancellation fee of CAD 15 will apply to each refund request.
