A very warm welcome to the Onslow St Audrey’s School community, and welcome to your Year 7 Induction Information Site!
It was fantastic to meet so many of you and your children during our recent transition events. In particular, last week’s 'Moving Up Day’ on Thursday 9th July was a wonderful highlight. Seeing our new cohort together in school, buzzing with energy, making new friends, and getting a genuine taste of secondary school life was incredibly rewarding. They are a brilliant group of young people, and we are already so proud to call them our new Year 7 team.
At Onslow St Audrey’s, our ultimate goal is to support your child so they can truly SOAR throughout their time with us:
Success: Celebrating every achievement, big or small, as they navigate their academic and personal growth.
Opportunity: Encouraging them to dive into new subjects, sports, creative arts, and extracurricular clubs.
Ambition: Inspiring them to aim high, discover their unique potential, and look toward a bright future.
Resilience: Helping them build the confidence and mindset to bounce back from challenges and keep moving forward.
This website has been carefully put together to give you and your child all the essential details needed for a confident, stress-free start in September.
We firmly believe that a child’s success relies on a strong, collaborative partnership between home and school. We look forward to working closely with you over the coming years to watch your child thrive.
Please take some time to read through the following pages together with your child. If you have any remaining questions after reviewing the pack, please don't hesitate to contact our transition team. There is still a chance to sign-up to our summer school, but you need to do it by Monday 20 July. Click here to sign up for summer school or scan the QR code above..
Thank you once again for your fantastic engagement last week. Have a wonderful summer, and we will see you all on 3rd September.

Hello 7A,
I am looking forward to being your form tutor and helping you all find your place in our school community.
I am a science teacher but I am also an avid gamer and live music lover. I am always excited to talk about what games you’re currently playing and the music you listen to. Any recommendations are always welcome.
Hello 7D,
I am looking forward to being your form tutor and helping you all get to grips with you new life in secondary school!
I am a science teacher and in my spare time I am either playing video games, playing Dungeons or Dragons or enjoying a good book or manga.
Welcome to ELY!
I’m Ms Armstrong! I teach Drama here at OSA, and I'm so excited to be your form tutor as you start Year 7.
In our form, we’ll definitely have a laugh and I can be a bit random sometimes! I’ll always encourage you to do your best because I truly want you to succeed. Outside of form time, I love Drama because it’s a brilliant way to build your confidence, and I'm a big fan of backstage stuff like making props/sets and live theatre.
A few fun facts about me:
Always hungry: My current obsession is chocolate ice cream or tiramisu.
Dog person: I love dogs and can't wait to hear all about your pets!
Dino fan: I love dinosaurs so expect to see plenty of them around my classroom!
Super competitive: Get ready for us to team up and give it our all on sports days!
Spelling: I am dyslexic, so I will spell things wrong. You'll have to keep an eye out and help me!
Team Ely: My favourite colour is yellow, so I’m very happy to be supporting Ely.
Starting secondary school is a big adventure, but I am right here in your corner. I can't wait to meet you all and have a brilliant first year together!
I am an English and Drama teacher with a passion that's simply infectious. As a proud Jamaican, I bring a unique blend of creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom. With over five years of teaching experience, I know just how to create an environment that's both nurturing and stimulating. My goal is to empower and edify every student to reach their full potential, all while having a blast along the way.
When I’m not inspiring young minds, I love experiencing a good adventure, fashion trends, or grooving to the beat. I’m yearning for us to have a year to remember!
Hello 7O,
I am looking forward to being your form tutor and helping you all find your place in our school community.
I am an Art and Technology teacher. I am a father of two boys, lover of Sci-Fi and music. As a teacher of art, I love all aspects of the subject and enjoy going to galleries and doodling. Fun fact about me: I was lucky enough to be on the Millennium Falcon (Star Wars) on a working film set.
