Google has made available a Google Solitaire game which is a digital version of the classic solitaire card game that can be played online through the Google search engine. Solitaire is one of our best games that you can play right on Chrome.

Solitaire is a collective term for hundreds of card games and activities that require only one person. The game involves arranging a shuffled deck of cards into a specified order or tableau, regardless of variation.

Solitaire Game Setup:

In Google Solitaire, there are four types of piles: tableau, stock, waste, and foundation.

 The tableau and The stock:

There are seven stacks in the tableau. The first pile contains one card, the second pile contains two cards, the third pile contains three cards, and so on until seven piles are formed. Only the top card in each pile is face up.

And after the construction of the tableau, the remaining cards are placed face down which are called stock.

The Waste and The Foundation:

Waste is where three cards from the stock will be dealt face up as the game progresses, with only the top card visible.

The foundation consists of four piles of cards (one for each suit) in ascending order (Ace to King). At the beginning of the game, the foundation is empty. The goal is to play all cards on these four bases.

How to play google Solitaire Game:

The Google Solitaire playing area is called the tableau and consists of seven decks of cards. There are also foundation piles, which are four piles for each suit running from Ace to King. The stockpile is a set of cards that are not used to make the tableau, and the talon or waste pile contains cards from the stockpile that cannot be used to make legal moves.

Most solitaire games use a standard deck of 52 cards, without jokers. Although there are different variations of the game, they all have the same basic rules.

1. You can move cards from one pile to another only by following specific solitaire rules. For example, you can put 6 on top of 7 or queen on top of king.

2. Players must arrange cards in alternating colors. For example, if the above card is red, the next card must be black.

3. Moving a card from one pile to another frees the next dropped card.

4. You can place any movable card on another card that is higher in rank and with the opposite suit you can play the red four on the black five. If more than one card is face up on the pile you can move them together

5. The pile of cards must be filled in ascending order and matched to the appropriate suit. For example, the two of hearts can only go on top of the ace of hearts, followed by the three of hearts.

6. Moving an entire row to other positions creates an empty tableau.

7. If there is an empty space on the tableau, only a king can fill it.

The player can use the cards on the stock pile to help form sequences.

8. Stockpile cards can only be used when a player has run out of tricks. If a stock card cannot help you, it is moved to the Talon (waste pile).

9.Once all the stockpile cards have been moved to the Talon, a player can begin going through them again.

10. You win after all cards are placed in the foundation
