EFTPS & IRS Direct Pay provides payments options for business and individuals respectively. Payment options are highly secured and safer to use. Taxpayers can pay using bank account, Debit Card, Credit Card or electronically via digital Wallet.
How to pay taxes?
To make tax payments as an Individual, get an account on IRS website-
Through your web browser, go to 'irs.gov/payments'.
Get how much amount you need to pay, details about payment, History of payments you made, any payments in progress.
Choose an option to pay tax- Estimated tax, Payment plan, pending amount to be paid, and several other payments.
Proceed with the payment method- From Bank account, Debit/ Credit card, Digital Wallet.
Different IRS tax payment options
IRS offers several options to pay taxes online conveniently and safely through its IRS Payment System. Refer to the options for
Credit or debit card- Look for stakeholders responsible for tax payment services, processing fees or contact details. It also provides instructions for payments, table informing tax payments accepted.
Direct Pay Service for Individuals- Complete tax bill payment or do it by estimating yourself through any of the - checking or savings account. This charges no fees from you.
Electronic Funds Withdrawal Service- If you proceed to pay through IRS e-file option then look at the instructions and details mentioned.
EFTPS- Electronic Federal Tax Payment System- Access this interface, to collect info related to contact no., other links for EFTPS and software info.
Online Payment Agreement- If you're unable to pay tax fully in single time, use it to plan complete tax payment.
Service for Same-day wire federal tax payments- Proceed tax payment for federal tax payment.
User fees Platform- Pay US residency user fees along with IVES (Income Verification Express Service).
