Google offers a comprehensive platform to help you keep track of your devices and ensure their security. Google.com/device allows users to manage and connect various devices associated with their Google account. This includes everything from smart home devices, like Google Nest, to smartphones and tablets.
A google.com/device code message is a security feature used to verify your identity when accessing your Google account from a new device. When you sign in from an unfamiliar device, Google sends a unique code to your registered email address or phone number. You need to enter this code on the google.com/device page to confirm that you're the legitimate account owner.
Open your browser and sign in to your Google account.
Once signed in, generate an authentication code on your device. This will normally be done from the device’s Accounts or Set up section. It will differ from device to device.
Note the authentication code down.
In your browser, visit the google.com/device page.
Enter the code and click Next.
Sign in again if you’re prompted to.
Once sign up is complete, you can close the page.
Return to your device and your Google account will be logged in.
