Cricut Design Space is a free design platform provided by Cricut that allows users to create, edit, and personalize designs for their Cricut machines. Whether you're working with vinyl, paper, fabric, or other materials, Cricut Design Space gives you all the tools you need to design projects and send them to your Cricut machine for cutting or printing. You can access Design Space from your browser via cricut.com/design, or you can download the app to your desktop or mobile device for offline use.
Visit the Cricut Design Space Website: Open your browser and go to cricut.com/design.
Download and Install Design Space: If you haven’t already, download and install the Cricut Design Space application.
Open Design Space: Launch the application after installation.
Create a New Account:
Click on Sign In in the top right corner.
Select Create Cricut ID.
Fill in the required details such as your name, email, and password.
Agree to the terms of use and privacy policy.
Complete the Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
Unbox Your Cricut Machine:
Remove the machine, power adapter, USB cable, and any included accessories from the box.
Plug in and Power On:
Connect the power adapter to your Cricut machine and plug it into a power outlet.
Press the power button to turn on the machine.
Connect to Your Computer or Mobile Device:
For Computer:
Use the USB cable to connect your Cricut machine to your computer.
Alternatively, you can pair it via Bluetooth if your machine supports it.
For Mobile Device:
Ensure your mobile device has Bluetooth enabled.
Pair your Cricut machine with your mobile device via Bluetooth.
Download and Install Design Space:
Go to cricut.com/design in your browser.
Download and install the Design Space software for your computer or the Design Space app for your mobile device.
Create or Sign In to Your Cricut ID:
Launch Design Space and follow the on-screen instructions to sign in or create a new Cricut ID.
Set Up Your Machine in Design Space:
In Design Space, select New Machine Setup.
Choose your machine model (Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore) and follow the prompts to complete the setup.
You will be guided through a test cut to ensure everything is working correctly.
