Volunteer hours
All members are expected to complete a minimum of 10 volunteer hours each semester. These hours may be completed through NHS events or outside of the organization. Hours completed in the summer may be used in the fall semester but not in the spring. Hours used to fulfill requirements for another organization may not be used to fulfill the NHS requirement. Those planning to apply for an officer position in the spring must complete 20 hours.
Meeting attendance
All members are expected to avoid missing more than 2 monthly meetings. Bi-weekly brainstorming sessions are optional and do not count towards this requirement.
Dues
All members are required to pay dues of $10 each semester.
