Our club is dedicated to addressing gender inequality in education, with chapters spanning over four countries and six educational institutions. We believe that every student deserves equal access to quality education, regardless of gender. Our journey began when one of our cofounders realized she was one of only six girls in a 21-member GT cohort at her school. This eye-opening experience highlighted the disparities that exist and inspired us to take action.
Since then, we have hosted workshops and participated in events like Hogg's Literacy Night, working to create opportunities and raise awareness about the challenges faced by girls in education. Our club is committed to making a tangible difference by providing microgrants, establishing mentorship and summer programs for middle school girls, and organizing educational events that empower students and foster a more inclusive environment.
Every donation is a step towards a future where gender does not determine the quality of students' education. Your support will help us continue our mission, expand our programs, and reach even more students who deserve the chance to thrive. Together, we can create lasting change and ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed.

In Houston and across Texas, girls-especially middle school-are facing growing disparities in STEM education and long-term opportunity:
A widening math and science gap is emerging post-pandemic, with girls falling behind boys in performance and participation.
Critical milestones like 8th-grade algebra enrollment-a gateway to STEM careers-are lagging for girls.
Financial barriers and responsibilities (like childcare) prevent many young women from pursuing or completing college.
Even after earning degrees, women face pay gaps and underrepresentation in leadership.
These challenges aren't isolated-they're systemic. And they require early, community-driven intervention.

Our organization has experience and passion in combating this issue, including: free one-on-one tutoring in school subjects, advocacy for policy change through academic writing, seminars promoting female empowerment, and meetings giving young girls career exposure and presenting opportunity.
