Commissions ToS

Effective Date: September 14, 2026

By submitting a quote request, paying an invoice, or entering into a commission agreement with us, you agree to the following legally binding terms and conditions.

Ordering & Age Requirements

Minimum Age: You must be 13 years of age or older to commission us.
Parental Consent (Ages 13–17): If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, a parent or legal guardian must co-sign the commission agreement, approve the payment plan, and handle all financial transactions on your behalf. We require written parental confirmation before accepting any down payments from minors.
Reference Sheets: Clients must provide a clear, flat-colored, multi-view digital reference sheet. We will not work from text descriptions, shaded artwork, or real-life photography unless explicitly agreed upon during the quote phase.

Payment Terms & Plans

Quotes: All quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date.
Down Payment: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total slot cost is required upfront to secure your commission slot and fund initial material sourcing.
Payment Plans: We do NOT do payment plans, must be payed IN FULL.
Currency & Fees: All prices are processed in USD. Clients (or their guardians) are responsible for any transaction fees. We DO NOT ship outside of the US.

Production, Timeline, & Deadlines

Queue Order: Work is generally completed in the order of the payment queue, though tasks may overlap during specific curing or drying phases.
Estimated Completion: Delivery dates are estimates, not hard guarantees. Crafting wearable art is a complex process. We will provide regular photo updates at major milestones (e.g., foam sculpt, fur taping, final assembly).
Conventions/Deadlines: We do not accept strict, rushed convention deadlines. If you wish to expedite an order, a rush fee of 25% will be added to the total cost, subject to our availability.

Sizing & Fit Responsibility

Duct Tape Dummies (DTD): For full-body commissions, you must provide a high-quality, durable duct tape dummy built according to our specific tutorial guidelines. Note: Minors should always have parental supervision when constructing a DTD for safety reasons.
Measurement Accuracy: We are not responsible for sizing issues stemming from an inaccurate DTD, incorrect measurements provided by the client, or natural physical growth/weight fluctuations during the production period.

Changes, Revisions, & Alterations

Concept Changes: Minor character alterations can be requested during the concept and mockup stages. Major structural design changes requested after materials are purchased or patterning is underway will incur additional material and labor fees.
Work-In-Progress Approval: Once a milestone stage (like a foam base sculpt) is approved by the client via photo/video, any retroactive changes requested later will require a rebuilding fee.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Costs: The cost of shipping, tracking, and full postage insurance is not included in the initial suit quote and will be invoiced separately once the project is finished.
Damages & Losses: We are not liable for postal delays, transit damage, or packages lost by third-party shipping couriers once the item has left our studio.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation by Client: If you choose to cancel your commission, the 30% down payment is completely non-refundable. Refunds on the remaining balance will be scaled relative to the amount of work completed and materials consumed up to that date.
Cancellation by Studio: Furever Friends Fursuit Company reserves the right to cancel a commission at any time due to client harassment, breach of contract, or prolonged non-payment. In these rare cases, a partial refund minus material costs will be calculated, and the unfinished project assets remain our property.

Warranty & Repairs

90-Day Limited Warranty: We offer a 90-day warranty starting from the day of package delivery. This covers minor structural issues like popped seams, loose glue bonds, or localized component defects.
Exclusions: The warranty is void if the suit has been altered, modified, improperly washed, mistreated, or subjected to extreme wear and tear by the client.
Shipping for Repairs: The client is responsible for clean, freshly washed transit hygiene and outbound shipping costs for warranty work. We will not cover the return shipping fee.

Reminders:

The founders of the company are minors. We will not accept harassment, violence, hate comments, or threats in any way and WILL cancel your commission if deemed to fit these rules.
