Our Story: From a Personal Turn to a Purpose-Driven Movement

Our journey began, not with a business plan, but with a simple act of love: a $50 DIY photo booth built for a family birthday. For three years, that little booth traveled with us, capturing countless memories and sparking infectious, pure joy.

But life shifts. Three years in, a personal health challenge required a dramatic change in career direction. Remembering the undeniable joy that simple PVC-pipe creation brought to everyone—including myself—it became clear: starting a professional photo booth business was the path forward.

That conviction gave birth to One Magical Event (OME).

The Power of Perspective

We successfully built OME, providing high-tech, memorable experiences. But being a disabled business owner gave us a unique perspective. We realized that professional event photography was a luxury, and that inclusive workforce opportunities were virtually nonexistent for people like me.

This deep empathy created a clear purpose: If we could build a successful business from a simple start, we could build a foundation to empower others.

This led to the creation of the Magic Smile Foundation (MSF).

The Foundation ensures that the magic of photography and the dignity of work are accessible to all. We are dedicated to:

1. Bringing Joy: Providing free and low-cost photography services to schools, community groups, and non-profit organizations that need them most.

2. Building Futures: Creating specialized workforce training and career pathways that equip individuals with disabilities with valuable event management and digital media skills, leading directly to meaningful, paid opportunities.

The Spark of Innovation: One Magical Event

After countless requests from friends and family, we turned our hobby into a real business. We took a leap of faith, investing in a high-tech, interactive Mirror Photo Booth to bring a truly professional and memorable experience to events. Then, facing the challenges of 2020, we innovated by launching our Virtual Mirror Booth and later expanding with a second Mirror Booth and AI-powered photography. Through these challenges, our mission to capture joy only grew stronger.
