National Institute for Excellence in Teaching Partnership
OSSD has partnered with NIET since 2022. The focus of our partnership is to improve instructional practices across the district, which in turn leads to improved student outcomes. Through our work with NIET, we have established instructional leadership teams at the school and district level that empower teachers, principals, and district leaders to identify areas of improvement and to develop and implement effective strategies to address the unique learning needs of every student.
Our partnership with NIET is made possible in part by funding through Title II-A professional development funds.
