Dr. Amy Cripps is a board-certified medical oncologist. She was born in Austin, Texas, and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona with her parents, 1 brother, and 4 sisters. She received a Bachelor of Science from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas in 1999. She received her Medical Doctorate degree from University of Texas Houston Health Science Center in 2003. Post medical school training including internal medicine resident, chief resident, and medical oncology fellowship done in the Oakland-San Francisco Bay area and completed in 2010. She married her medical school sweetheart and moved to Dallas, Texas with her husband, who is a trauma surgeon, along with their first child. She joined NexGen Oncology in 2013, and then in 2019 joined Verdi Oncology Texas. She practiced in Dallas until her family moved to Denver, Colorado in 2021. She continued to work with Verdi as Medical Director of Clinical Operations. She lives in Castle Rock with her family; two children, Olivia age 13, Joshua, age 9, cat named Lil' Tux and Labradoodle named Bubbles. She enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, knitting, yoga, hiking, snow skiing, and is actively learning pickleball.
