This program is competitive and require a recommendation from a teacher. Students will participate in a paid or unpaid work experience in their occupational field of interest. They will discover the connection between academics and employment while they work with experienced professionals and learn marketable job skills.
An opportunity for students to participate in the actual work experiences outside of the classroom, but on a limited basis. Students participating in these explorations are considered trainees and may perform simple tasks. The students are enrolled in vocational courses leading to a one or two-year certificate and have received safety training in their respective occupational areas.
