About the Onalaska Orchestras

The Onalaska Orchestra began in the fall of 1995 with over 70 beginners.  In the fall of 2000 those beginning students moved on to the high school, creating the first  Onalaska High School Orchestra; this orchestra began with 10 violins, 1 viola, 2 celli and 1 bass.  Today the High School enrolls approximately 20-34 high school string students.  The Middle School has approximately 95 string students.
