Omro is proud to be one of 23 districts in Wisconsin that gives students the opportunity to achieve this seal.
The Wisconsin Seal of Biliteracy (SBL) is awarded to graduating high school students in districts with a Department of Public Instruction-approved program, who have demonstrated advanced achievement in bilingualism, biliteracy, and sociocultural competence in two or more languages.

The Seal of Biliteracy recognizes three dimensions of “literacy” representing the ability to interpret, construct, and communicate meaning across languages and cultures.
