What is Skills Based Reporting?

Skills based reporting is a version of standards based grading where the emphasis is on student's demonstrating proficiency through the products they submit. Each assessment or assignment will be rated based on the performance criteria that teacher's have developed using the language of the learning standards as their guide. The learning standards are grounded in skills which is why we use the term skills based reporting.
