Classroom Hygiene Protocol
Before supervision begins students are to wipe tables down prior to learning. Tables to be wiped before and after eating and at the end of the day.
Other hard surfaces may need to be sprayed also such as door handles, sink area, chairs......
Hands to be sanitised when entering or leaving a workspace.
Students are to wash their hands for 20 seconds using soap and water at the beginning of the day, before eating, after going to the toilet and after using a tissue.
Hands are dried with a paper towel and placed in the bin, or use hand dryer.
Remind students to cough/sneeze into the elbow and to avoid touching the face.
Students are to be supervised when washing hands after going to the toilet.
No student goes to the toilet without supervision. The idea is that the teacher and ESO take all the children (at the same time) to the toilets regularly and supervise the proper hand washing routine.
Students are to sit at separate tables and maintain social distance at all times.
Each student has their own water bottle.
Each student is to have access to their own equipment, eg paper, scissors, pencils, glue stick, ruler, colour pencils.
The supervising teacher has his/her own table/ workspace. Eso will be provided their own work space as well. Wipe down after use.
Students are to wipe down their device at the end of the day.
The library will be set as the OLOL flexible and remote learning space. There will be enough desks and chairs that each child is operating on a separate desk/pod.
