Jon McClung, Steven Searcy, and Ryan Tanay have been busy building an MVP for Olomon: a personal finance solution designed to help individuals collaboratively manage their day-to-day finances. (Many thanks to Daniel John (aka DJ) who also worked on Olomon last year!)
ππΌ We are π looking for people to help us get our product ready for broader user testing.
You must be ok with hooking up a "real" checking account to Olomon. (This happens securely via Plaid.)
Be willing to report back issues to us and/or to provide feedback.
Plan for about 20 minutes, although you could spend more time if desired.
Are there any glaring bugs or confusing usability issues?
We want to learn about the sign up and onboarding process.
How well does it work?
Is there friction we can remove?
How well do the collaboration features work?
Have we solved any problems?
What do we love?
What's missing?
If you're interested, please email katie@olomon.com
We will send out a link. Whenever you're ready, go through the sign up and onboarding process.
Bonus: Not required, but it would be really helpful if you're willing / able to talk out loud as you go through the process or creating your user account and linking your bank account, sharing your inner thoughts about what you're seeing/thinking/feeling about the flow. This could be done with:
recording yourself & screen on a Loom (Free accounts are limited to 5 minutes)
create a Google Meet for yourself, screenshare and record
or to just record your voice on your phone's voice recorder app
Provide feedback about any bugs you encounter or confusing aspects of using the product. This can be done by email to: katie@olomon.com.Β
Screenshots and/or Videos welcome, but I'll take whatever you've got!
You may also reach out to Jon McClung or Steven Searcy with comments and questions.
