Please use the long weekend to try to get the rest of your school supplies.
You may want to brush up on your addition and subtraction math facts - especially if you're struggling with "summer brain". Those will be the first skills covered in math.
We will be discussing the summer reading next week. It might be a good idea to review them - especially if you read them at the beginning of the summer.

We made it through Day #1 with flying colors! What an outstanding day!
Some students are missing a few school supplies. I have asked them to bring those items in just as soon as they are able.
We will be discussing both summer reading novels next week. If your child still needs to finish reading (or reviewing) the novel(s), this would be a good time to do so.
