WEEK NINE AND TEN
WEEK SIX
This week I am give you all a few popular songs to try to learn. Take it slow and watch those fingerings; there just MIGHT be a few new notes in the mix!
Take it slow and don't try to learn it all in one sitting. Learning music takes time!
This has a lot of high notes in it. Careful not to overblow!
There is nothing more motivating than learning a song you love! This is a HARD song to play, but if you want a challenge this is a great song to try!
WEEK FIVE
While it is fun to keep looking at the Link Up book, I am providing some fun songs to play along with here. These provide visual guides to help you master note reading, rhythms, and fingerings on the recorder!
Note: Your recorder uses the "Baroque" Fingerings
Here is a challenge song!
WEEK FOUR
Go back to the piece from Week One and see if you can play along with it! You might be surprised to see how much you can read if you have been working on rhythms and notes!
In addition:
Try going to https://www.carnegiehall.org/Education/Educators/Link-Up/Activities-for-Families and check out some of the activities they have. We've done a few in class before, but some are new and are a great way to have fun by yourself or with the whole family!
WEEK THREE
Keep working on reading rhythms and notes!
Here's a fun video on reading rhythms a different way than "Ta" and "Ti-ti"
