*Virtues in Practice: This newly adopted program will introduce one virtue a month, biographies of several saints, and a home connection where families work together to reinforce the month's virtue.

*IXL: This is a computer-based program in which students will learn and reinforce skills in the areas of Mathematics and Language Arts.

*Latin and Greek Root Challenge: This program introduces Latin and Greek roots in a fun, engaging way with a focus on prefixes and suffixes. This ultimately helps students decode English vocabulary.

* Annual Spelling Bee: The intermediate grades enjoy the friendly competition of an annual spelling bee. OLM sends its top two spellers to the regional spelling bee in hopes that they may even make it to the state level!
