Students come into class in search of our class owl, Archimedes, a fun hide and seek to have them concentrate
Students have the chance to check out a book each week
Grades 2 and 3 are asked to give weekly oral book reports, identifying main characters and concepts from their readings
All students are taught different genres of books, including both fiction and non-fiction book selections
