Here is some helpful information for the new school year:
Please send in all supplies the first day of school. Your child will receive a pencil case through school. Your child's name is on it.
*All cleaning supplies may be turned in the first week of school. Thank you for your donation.
*Your child will need a labeled rainy day shoebox/ a small plastic bin with little things to play with for indoor recess
( please nothing expensive or electronic) within the first week of school.
*Please label everything- Folders , school bags, lunch bags, sweaters, gym sweatshirts, etc.... it makes things easier if something gets misplaced.
*There are many papers sent home the first few weeks of school . Please be sure to check your child's home folder daily . Please return all complete forms as soon as possible.
*iPads must be fully charged each night and returned to school. Please send in a headset to be kept at school.
*All workbooks need to be covered with clear contact paper. Your child will also get copybooks in class.
*If possible folders should be plastic folders because they will last the whole year. . Please put your child's name on their folders.
*Your child will need a snack and drink for morning snack each day.
*If your child is buying lunch, please try to remind your child each morning of this. Also your child needs to remember his/her pin number for lunch.
*Your child must know his/her bus number. If your are making a change in transportation for dismissal, you must send in a note or call the main office by1:30 P.M.
*Homework will be given Monday through Thursday . The homework will be posted on my website for the week.
Please practice addition and subtraction facts and high frequency words each night. The homework should be signed each night.
*We have a student in our class with peanut and tree nut allergies. If you are sending something into school for the class make sure you do not send in anything homemade. The treat must have the ingredient label on it. The student CANNOT have foods that are labeled contains/may contain peanuts or tree nuts. The student can enjoy foods that are processed on the same equipment/in the same facility as peanuts and tree nuts.
Thank You
