• Theme 1 ~ Literature - genre (emphasis on characterization and setting), locating information from a variety of sources, pluralization, grammar conventions and types of sentences in writing.

• Theme 2 ~ continuation of parts of speech, literature - focus on main ideas and supporting details. Using different reference sources, facts and opinions, abbreviations and synonyms/antonyms.

MATH

• Topic 1 ~ Place value
