My father was a career Navy man and I was born in Key West, Florida. My family moved up and down the east coast until my father retired. I've lived in three states and many towns. But I have lived most of my life in New Jersey. I currently live in Clementon and we are members of Our Lady Of Guadalupe Parish. My husband and I were married at St. Lawrence Church in Lindenwold. We have four children and four grandchildren.  Before we lived in Clementon we lived in Berlin Township and we were members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel for 18 years.  Two of my four children attended OLMC School.  I have been teaching at OLMC since 2019.  I have worked in public schools for 20 years in various positions from substitute teacher to instructional aide and now as the 1st Grade teacher at OLMC School.  I feel like I have come home.  I love it here!  I am so excited to be here to teach you! I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with degrees in Humanities and Education.

These are a few of my favorite things! 

I love feeding and watching the birds.  Tractor Supply is my favorite store for bird food and supplies.

I love to listen to audiobooks,  currently  listening to an Armand Gamache murder mystery. 

I love to knit and crochet and I am learning to paint. I like acrylics paint by number and I also am enjoying watercolors.

I don't eat out  very often but if I do I love Cracker Barrel and local diners  that have  delicious food.  

I love to walk in the woods and parks and on the beach.  And I enjoy flower gardening and would  like to visit Longwood Gardens.  I hope to visit many of those kinds of places this summer. 

I really enjoy history and love museums.  We have so many places available to us here in NJ I want to start a bucket list of sights to see.  Please feel free to suggest any places you think  I would enjoy. 

I love  dark chocolate covered pretzels, peanuts and almonds .  

I like to make things from scratch like sourdough bread and granola.

I have a Socractic philosphy towards teaching in that I ask a lot of questions in order to  encourage thinking beyond just filling in blanks.  Facts are the building blocks, but how those facts are interpreted and used or manipulated needs a discerning, analytical thinking process.  Truth matters.  

I will do my best to hellp your child develope  a thinking mind.
