Welcome! My name is Mrs. Eileen Kwis, I am so excited to be part of your child’s school year. I will be the sixth-grade homeroom teacher and will also teach science and social studies in grades 6-8.

I hold a B.A. in History and English and a Master’s degree in Curriculum Development and Supervision. I have enjoyed a long and rewarding career in education, with 35 years of experience teaching in public schools from kindergarten through high school, as well as five years of experience in parochial education. 

When I’m not in the classroom, I love being a grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren. I especially enjoy watching them play sports and listening to them play the piano.
