The 2026-2027 FAFSA is open! To prepare to complete your 2026-2027 FAFSA:
Check dependency status and determine who is a "Contributor" for the student's FAFSA
Create your Federal Student Aid account (Note: EVERY CONTRIBUTOR will need to make an account)
Learn about applying for Federal Financial Aid via the Federal Student Aid Youtube videos
Completing the FAFSA has become much easier and less time consuming over the years largely due to the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. While completing the FAFSA, you will have the option to link your Federal Tax information from the IRS website which will auto-load all of the needed tax data. Your 2024 tax information will be used for the 2026-2027 FAFSA. If there have been changes since filing your 2024 taxes (e.g. loss of a job, divorce, change in job resulting in drop in income, loss of assets, etc.) then the student/family will be able to appeal their financial aid offer from the colleges and universities. The appeal process will most likely be in the Spring after a student receives their Financial Aid offer from a college or university.
SAT Suite of Assessments is now digital! We will be offering SAT School Day in April, which is free for our students. If you are interested in taking the SAT in addition to SAT School Day, the cost is $60 and information on dates and testing sites can be found below.
