A Little About Me:

Reading and writing are just two of my passions! I have been an ELA teacher for 9 years and have loved every minute of it! I look forward to teaching and getting to know all of my 6th graders!  I have a lot fun, new lessons planned for the year.

Before teaching, I traveled as a bank trainer and was a manager for many years. I love to travel and have been to many places! One place I travel to once a year is Texas  to visit my family.

I am married and we have three children. I have two adult sons, Gavin and Grant. Gavin is married and working. Grant is working and travels all over. I also have a daughter, Gracen, who is attending Olivet College. My son Gavin and his wife Michelle added a beautiful baby girl Evalyn to our family. My granddaughter is adorable and I love being a grandma!

My family is extremely into athletics and outdoor activities. Our hobbies are  reading, fishing,  kayaking, hunting, hiking, small time farming, playing games and most anything outdoors! We have one dog, two cats and we raise beefalo ( a combination cow and buffalo). We live on a lake, which is where we can partake in many of our outdoor activities.

I am extremely excited to start the school year with all my new students!
