About Me

I have been teaching 4th grade at Olivet Middle School since 2000. I proudly have 2 Bachelor's degrees (BS in Environmental Biology & BA in Elementary Education) and my Master's degree (MA in Curriculum and Teaching) from Michigan State University. I am married and we have two wonderful children that have both graduated from Olivet High School and the Battle Creek Area Math & Science Center . Our daughter attends Grand Valley State University and our son attends Michigan State University. I love camping, travel, gardening, fishing, boating, reading, cross-stitching, teaching Sunday School at my church, and spending time with friends, family, and my German Shorthair Pointers.
