A LITTLE ABOUT MRS. MCLANE...

I LOVE to read and I love books! I also enjoy travline with my family. My husband and I are world travelers and especially love learning the historical significance of the places we visit. I enjoy outdoor activities when it’s warm such as hiking, walking, cycling, and laying in the sun reading a book. 

More than all of those things, I love my family! My husband, Todd, is a pastor in Olivet and can on occasion be found in the school system substitute teaching and coaching the boys’ golf team. My daughter, Logan, & son, Blake, are Eaton County Sheriff officers, my son, Thomas  is a youth pastor at our church, and Brock is a senior pastor in Illinois. My family continues to grow. We added another grandbaby, Evelyn, joins her brother, Theo.

I’m passionate about teaching and Social Studies, but most of all I love working with my students. I love seeing their growth and making sure they are ready for high school and the real world. I look forward to making some of the most difficult years of students' lives enjoyable! My philosophy is "Every day is a new day!" Let's make every day better than the day before!
