A LITTLE ABOUT MRS. MCLANE...

I LOVE to read and I love books! I enjoy outdoor activities when it’s warm such as hiking, walking, cycling, and laying in the sun reading a book.  I also enjoy traveling with my family.  My husband and I are world travelers. I was able to cross a few things off my traveling bucket list this summer. I spent a whirlwind 4 days in NYC, hiked with my bestie in Hocking Hills, and did a land & sea adventure in Alaska!

More than all of those things, I love my family! My husband, Todd, is a pastor in Olivet and can on occasion be found in the school system substitute teaching and coaching the boys’ golf team. My daughter, Logan, & son, Blake, are Calhoun County Sheriff officers, while my other 2 sons are youth pastors.  One is in Olivet and the other in Illinois. My family continues to grow. We added another daughter-in-love to the family & have enjoyed watching our 1st grandson develop his fun personality.

I’m passionate about teaching English Language Arts, and Social Studies, but most of all I love working with my students. I love seeing their growth and making sure they are ready for high school and the real world. I look forward to making some of the most difficult years of students' lives enjoyable! My philosophy is "Every day is a new day!" Let's make every day better than the day before!
