Every Summer, Troop 205 goes to a camp that varies from Camp Durant, Summit, and Powatan. Scouts can spend 1-2 weeks there woking to progress themseves in scouts in general. We also provide merit badge training.

The High Adventure event is an important experiences for Scouts to engage in outdoor activities such as canoeing, scuba diving, and sailing. Troop leaders work meticulously to organize these events that are 1-2 week long . Our last High Adventure took place at SEABASE in Florida, offering one of the world's best aquatic programs.

Illuminaria is an annual service project that the scouts of our troop and our sister troop contribute towards. In early December, we pass out sand bags and candles so that on Christmas Eve, residents of Apex can light  the candles and put it in the center of a sand pile, illuminating the entire street.

Feed the hunger is an event where scouts work hard to make meals so that children can have food for an entire year.

Winter Blast is an amazing way to get trained for merit badges and make progress in the winter. It also varies in camps Durant, Summit, and Powatan

Courts of Honor are events that occur 4 times a year. They are a meeting where all parents are invited too, and they anounce every acheivement of the member in our troop, such as merit badges. Most of the time there is is a potluck party afterwards.
