Kay is not shy when it comes to letting her constituents know what she is working on while in office and what she supports. Granger is most vocal on her X (formerly Twitter) account. She posts everything from her support of Donald Trump to her call for more aid to Israel. As she wraps up her final term in office, Kay's activity on her account has diminished significantly, with only a couple of posts from 2024. This can be attributed to the lack of necessity to continue to cater to her constituents and present herself as a productive incumbent who should be reelected. She can now focus on the objectives she would like to fulfill with her remaining time in office rather than spending the majority of her time campaigning and getting her name across.
She rarely participates in activities that are solely to get her name out to the public, as her lifetime office has provided her with plenty of publicity, and she has received endorsements from former President Donald Trump. With the nationalization of politics, a presidential endorsement is enough to bolster support from even the most extreme Republicans who rebuke Granger's moderate stance. This is demonstrated by her 2020 win over Robert Putnam. Granger's role as the Appropriations Committee's Chairwoman also provides her with a spotlight to discuss various issues and where the government should be utilizing its budget.
Kay now spends most of her time advocating and publicly stating her beliefs on various issues through her platforms (position taking/credit claiming). Luckily for Granger, the policy stances she most prominently advocates for align with the primary issues of her party. For years, Granger has advocated for a strong military presence around the globe, oftentimes encouraging the House to steer away from military budget cuts and declaring that the U.S. could be doing more in international conflicts.
With Lockheed Martin and an Air Force base within her district, Granger is a strong advocate for promoting the development of these industries. When she states her opinions on the progress of various programs, she demonstrates herself as an attentive representative who is vigilant when it comes to the goals of her constituents.

Granger has frequently toured the primary industries in her district. One of the major companies in her district, Lockheed Martin, is regularly visited by Granger to discuss the progress of aircraft production and how the company and the Air Force base can interact with each other. By visiting the company's Aerospace facility, Granger can adequately discuss the needs of this industry and promote the company's growth through passing legislation or speaking on behalf of the company in Congress. Granger's visits to this company and the Air Force base show her dedication to the people within her district and give her a heightened edge over challengers who are not as heavily invested in her district's flourishing.
Kay introducing a bill for more aid to Israel on The House Floor
For this year, Kay has proposed $12 million in earmarks for three projects. These projects are:
$5 million to the YMCA in Fort Worth for their northwest facility
$3.2 million to the city of Fort Worth for southeast transit operations and city design
$3 million to the Tarrant Area Food Bank for the Sid W. Richardson Agricultural Hub and Ready to Learn Resource Center
By attempting to procure money for these projects, Granger appears to be responsible for their development (credit claiming). These projects are more beneficial to the city of Fort Worth and are related to infrastructure, which indicates Kay's focus on the legacy she will leave behind once she retires. Texan cities have recently (the past decade or so) been facing issues with their water and building infrastructure due to climate change and age. With Granger's earmarks, she exemplifies responsiveness and autonomy, characteristics voters look for in a representative.
