Dusty is a wise 47 year old. He went to University of  Kansas and University of South Dakota. He grew up as a middle class child in South Dakota. He is a christian and his family lives in Yankton South Dakota with him. He is a family man, who has three children and a wife. He has a heart for the community and has been actively helping neglected children at Abbot House. He has also been a part of many committees including agriculture and has served the House of Representatives since January 3rd, 2019
