There are four aims of Scouting: citizenship, character, personal fitness, and leadership. On the Trail to Eagle, Scouts gradually learn and apply personal and leadership skills, earning advancement ranks, merit badges, and more. It is said that by the time you earn First Class you have everything you need to succeed in Scouts, and by the the time you earn the Eagle rank you have everything you need to succeed in life!
