How do I set up my SchoolCafé Account?
Download the 'SchoolCafé Family Hub' app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Create an account → Link your student(s) → Set up payment method and preferences.

What information do I need to link my students?
You will need your student's full name, school, and student ID number (available in PowerSchool or from the school office)
Can I transfer funds between my children?
Yes. Log in to SchoolCafé → Select 'Transfer Funds' → Choose the student accounts to transfer between.
How do I set purchase restrictions or spending limits?
In the app, go to your student’s profile → Select 'Preferences' → Set restrictions or limits. Changes take effect immediately.
Can I use SchoolCafé to complete a Free or Reduced Meal Application Online?
Yes. If you are interested in completing the Free/Reduced Meal Application, you can either print the application (also found on the Old Saybrook Public Schools website) or you can fill it out online through SchoolCafé. The Free and Reduced Meal Application can also be completed in Spanish and Portuguese.
