Dear Students,
ORRHS has created this one-page website for resources, skill-building, and alternative student learning while we are out of school. This website is intended to provide you with opportunities to continue your studies. We are not assigning work nor are we issuing any grades while school is out of session.
As a student, what should you be doing?
1. Visit this website to look at grade-specific and content-specific opportunities to remotely learn.
2. Check your school email 2-3 times per day. You may find correspondence from classroom teachers, guidance counselors, support staff, and administrators.
3. Visit your classroom Learning Management Systems (LMS) daily. A LMS could be Google Classroom, Schoology, or the like. Teachers may post activities related to the curriculum to their sites or use for general communication purposes.
4. If you are currently taking a GRADPOINT course facilitated by Mr. Greany, you are to continue working from home. Mr. Greany has reached out to all students taking these courses.
5. You are able to take an online course for enrichment via Gradpoint while home. These elective courses will be graded and put onto transcripts but not factored into GPA or class rank. Here are the course offerings:
ORRHS Gradpoint Electives. To sign up for a Gradpoint elective, please register here: Gradpoint Registration
6. A message to all AP students will be sent out on Monday (3/23) with curriculum and test updates.
For Biology Classes: focus on genetics, evolution, ecology, and the human body
Sick of staying in? GO OUTSIDE. Go for a walk, a jog, a run, a hike, a bike ride.
