Dear Parents/Guardians,
Restrictions around covid 19 are lifting! Such exciting news! However, there are a few things we are still doing here at RMS (per CDC guidelines) and would appreciate your help:
If your child has any symptoms of covid 19, please test (and call/email me if your child is positive). If they are positive they must quarantine for 5 days and then mask on days 6-10. Refer to this chart.
If you or a family member test positive for covid and your child is NOT vaccinated, they are considered close contacts and must quarantine (away from affected individual) for 5 days, then mask days 6-10. Refer to chart.
If your child is fully vaccinated and exposed to covid, they do not have to quarantine and can be in school. If they were to develop any symptoms, please keep them home and test. Please notify me (If they are positive). Refer to the chart below, also linked here.
Wear a mask correctly and consistently for the best protection. Be sure to wash your hands before putting on a mask and do not touch the mask when wearing it. Make sure the mask covers your nose and mouth and fits securely under your chin and against the sides of your face.
DO choose masks that
Have two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric
Completely cover your nose and mouth
Fit snugly against the sides of your face and don't have gaps
