IMPORTANT DEADLINES:
For priority processing of your application, please consider applying to your school of choice by December 1, 2022 so that your guidance counselor can process your application as quickly and efficiently as possible. Any application that is submitted after December 1, 2022 will be processed on a first come, first serve basis and cannot be guaranteed to make it to your school of choice in time for priority application deadlines.

Old Rochester Regional Junior High School
All students will be automatically enrolled at Old Rochester Regional High School and will complete a Course Selection Card in the spring. Students are encouraged to review the program of studies in advance and check out the many clubs and activities the high school has to offer.
Application Process: Students in the Town of Mattapoisett, Rochester, Acushnet, Carver, and Lakeville.

Applications must be completed with your parent, guardian or caregiver.
Apply online by clicking on the “Apply” button. Once your application has been accepted by Old Colony your guidance counselor will submit the following documents:
Official Report Cards (7th and 8th Grade)
Detailed Attendance Reports (7th and 8th Grade)
Detailed Discipline Reports (7th and 8th Grade)
Guidance Counselor/ Recommendation - please complete the OC Recommendation Request link above
Step 3: Release of Information
Sign the Release of Information form that allows Old Rochester to release student records to Old Colony. Without this form, your application will not be complete and will not be reviewed by Old Colony. Please submit this form to your Guidance Counselor as soon as possible.
Step 4: Interview
Interviews will be held during the first week of February at Old Rochester Regional Junior High School with a representative at Old Colony. Interviews will be coordinated through Old Colony and your guidance counselor.

Bristol Agricultural High School
Admissions Policy
Bristol County Agricultural High School is a public high school serving all Bristol County residents and ORR Students. Out of county residents are accepted, but must receive written approval from the Superintendent of their sending district prior to April 1st of the current school year, this includes ORRJHS students.
An Admissions Coordinator at Bristol Aggie can present an overview of the offerings available at Bristol County Agricultural High School to prospective students and families by registering for a tour of the Bristol Aggie campus. On-campus tour dates are available and posted online in September.

Step 3: Interview
The Interview is a required step in the application process. Please schedule your interview by calling (508) 669-6744 Ext 3203 or email kminster@bcahs.com. Interviews are held January through March.
Decision letters will be sent to all applicants. Students who have completed the full application process by February 1 will be included in the first round of acceptance decisions.
Step 4: Testing
Placement Testing for Accepted students will be held at the school in April, May, and June.

Greater New Bedford Vocational Regional Vocational Technical High School
Application Process: Students in the Town of New Bedford, Dartmouth, and Fairhaven.

High School Application Process
Tabor Academy or other private schools
Applications:
Tabor uses SSAT’s Standard Application Online (SAO). Applicants must register at SSAT, www.ssat.org, in order to create a Web Login ID and complete the application process. Follow the instructions provided for submitting testing, teacher recommendations, and essays.
Please Note: Other private schools may or may not use the SAO. Please consult each school’s website for specific instructions.

Testing:
Students should refer to the SSAT website, www.ssat.org, to find SSAT test locations and dates. Student’s will register for a test date directly through the SSAT website.
Recommendations:
In order for teachers’ to have time to complete recommendations you must do the online request in early December. A request is sent to your English and Math teacher.
Principal Request & Academic Form:
The Head of School/Principal request and the Academic form should be sent to me, Ms. DeChellis, as I complete those forms.
Transcripts and Student Records:
Transcripts and other student records are uploaded to the SAO by the ORRJHS guidance office.
