"Macbeth - An Outdoor Film Event"

The Tragedy of Macbeth comes to life on the big screen as the stars come out on Friday, May 21st and Saturday, May 22nd. The ORRHS Softball Field will be the venue so bring your lawn chairs, blankets and extra layer of clothing to stay cozy in your “Pod” or group (physically-distanced on the field). Refreshments will be available for a cash donation in the concession area. Please note, a Rent-a-Jon will be on site but no indoor access.

Directors’ Summary: “Macbeth is a play about the desire to have it all while not caring who you hurt along the way. Macbeth and Banquo, two generals from King Duncan’s army, fight to move up the line of succession to become King of Scotland. During their physical and mental battles, Macbeth takes matters into his own hands while involving a slew of other characters to do his dirty work. He eventually reaches his goal of King, but not while hurting many people along the way. In the end, does Macbeth truly win it all?”

Leading roles include Tyler Trudeau starring as Macbeth and Chloe Bean as Lady Macbeth. The cast includes Chloe Bean, Isabel Friedrichs, Lee Grondin, Jimmy Harrington, Bessie Pierre, Jessica Vance, Max Tucker. Directors are Beth Trout and Matthew P. Houde. Assistant Director: Margaret Berry, Stage Manager: Bailey Gosse, Costumes: Marina Stephens, Set Design & Poster Art: Taylor Green, Lighting: Cooper Newton, Camera Operator: Chris Bell; Film Editors: Margaret Berry and Chris Bell.
