Get a library card

Residents of Garvin County and surrounding areas may apply for a free library card. Kids and Teens must have permission from parents or guardians.

Interlibrary Loan

Have something on your "to read" list that isn't in our catalog?

We can get titles through Interlibrary Loan. We ask for a book and have another library loan it to us for you to check out. Call or come by the library for more info on this free service!

Hot Spots

Hot Spots are available to check out for patrons over the age of 18 that have a library account in good standing. New accounts will have a 30 day waiting period before being eligible to check out hot spots.

The fine for overdue hot spots is $2.00 per day. The charge for a damaged or destroyed hot spot is $50.00

Borrowing

Books and audio books: 2 weeks
Videos: 1 week
Hot Spots: 1 week

Fines

The fine for books on CD and videos is $2.00 per day per video or CD. The fine for hot spots is $2.00 per day.

Lost or destroyed books must be paid for. The charge for hardback books is the replacement cost if the book is less than 5 years old. Books that are 5 years or older will be half price.

When a fine reaches $10.00, patron may not check out another book until his/her account is cleared.

Printing

B&W, $.25 per side. Color, $1.00 per side.

Copying

8.5 x 11 B&W: $0.25 /first page and $0.10/additional page

8.5 x 11 Color: $1.00 /page

8.5 x 14: $0.25/page

11 x 17: $0.25/page

Scanning

Scan to e-mail or flash drive. No charge.

Faxing available as well.

Laminating

$1.00 Per Page

Technology at the Library

The Wynnewood Public Library offers free technology services to the residents of Wynnewood and Garvin County. Public library technology helps create a stronger economy, ensuring workforce development and lifelong learning.

Public computers

The library’s four public computers are available in one hour time slots, for up to two hours per day.

Conference Room

The conference room in the Wynnewood Public Library may be reserved for use, during regular library hours, by educational, civic, cultural, and government groups, free of charge.

Any library or city meeting or program takes precedence over any outside group meeting. A group that is already scheduled may be bumped if the room is needed by the Wynnewood Library or the City of Wynnewood. As much notice as possible will be given if a group’s reservation is cancelled.

Using the Room

Requests will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

The conference room must be left in the same condition after the meeting as it was before the meeting (chairs pushed in, all trash in the wastebaskets, lights off, etc.). Notify staff member when meeting is over.
