All centers will start at 8 a.m.
The draw room for radio will start at 8:00 with the first speaker at 8:30.
Drops/Title Updates
Please check into the office when you arrive... let us know of any last minute changes/drops so we can get the schedule updated. Feel free to email me titles and drops ahead of time. I will keep working on the schedule right up until contest so I have the most recent copy posted outside of centers, in the hallways and in the office.
Remember, any changes need to be made on the IHSSA website with a Change Form. There will be a computer in the office for you to use. The biggest changes will be for student substitutions since cards are no longer used.
Parent Information
Parents should be encouraged to park in the regular parking lot to the south of the school. There is a fee of $5 for spectators. A few programs will be printed, but coaches are encouraged to run off copies of their events for spectators. We all know there are a number of drops at the district level, so please inform students and parents that the day will probably move along faster than we think, and students may be performing early! Please remind students and parents...The taking of pictures/video and use of cell phones is absolutely prohibited during a performance, unless written permission has been granted by the State Office.
Buses
Buses should drop off students on the west side of the school (there is a bus lane and entrance right there) , and then buses should go and park in visitors lot of football field of the high school (off H Ave) There is a sidewalk between the high school and middle school.
Concessions
We will have breakfast and lunch items for sale in the concession stand and kitchen in our multi purpose room. Please have students keep as much food and drink as possible in that area. Concessions are cash or credit.
No food or drink is allowed in performance areas or gyms
All comment sheets may be picked up in the office when your last rating has been posted.
There will be maps of the school posted around...and also schedules of events outside each center...Please keep in mind that times may change dues to drops...so check them often.
