Gordon Korman is a bestselling author known for writing fun, fast-paced books for kids and teens. He was born on October 23, 1963, in Montreal and later moved to the United States.
Korman began his writing career at a very young age—he wrote his first novel, This Can't Be Happening at Macdonald Hall!, when he was just 14 years old as a school assignment. The book was published and became the start of his popular Macdonald Hall series.
Over the years, he has written more than 100 books, including well-known titles like Swindle, Restart, and Ungifted. His stories often feature humor, teamwork, and characters who grow and change in interesting ways.
