To instill the love of reading in the students of OKCPS and in our community.

We envision a community engaged in reading from childhood through adulthood.
ReadOKC, led by the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation, promotes reading among OKCPS students and the community through Reading Challenges, increasing Access to Reading Materials, and pairing caring adults as Reading Buddies & Book Club Leaders with students in Oklahoma City Public Schools.

The OKCPS Foundation recruits caring adults to serve as Reading Buddies, Book Club Leaders, volunteers on our On the Go! Book Buses, and as Little Library stewards. Become a ReadOKC Volunteer and engage with OKCPS students by reading with students, sharing access to reading materials, and serving as a mentor in their lives.
