The Oklahoma Office of Educational Quality and Accountability is your resource for information regarding Oklahoma Certification Examinations.  You will find information about required assessments and study resources.  Information about the PPAT is located here.



Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Educators (CEOE)               Oklahoma Subject Area Test (OSAT)

Emergency Certified Teachers are required to pass a subject area competency test.  Passing the OSAT is one of the choices to satisfy this requirement.  Information about the OSAT (Oklahoma Subject Area Test) is located on this page.  If you choose to take the OSAT, you will register for your examination using this site. 


Praxis Subject Assessments 

***UPDATE, 04/16/2024 -  OSDE is now accepting the Praxis Subject Assessment again.

Emergency Certified Teachers are required to a subject area competency test.  Passing the Praxis subject assessment is one of the choices to satisfy this requirement.  Information about assessments available to Oklahoma teachers can be found on this page.  If you choose to take the Praxis subject assessment, you will register for your examination using this site.
