FY22 OKCPS received state funding that afforded 14 new positions - 1 Director of Counseling and 13 Mental Health Professionals called Student Assistance Specialist that provide support to all high schools and 3 Middle Schools.

Develop and implement school Multi-Disciplinary Team to triage and monitor children who present with undetermined behavioral or social needs as identified by teachers or other staff throughout the year. Teams collaborate with PBIS site specialists and document/report regularly.
All MD Teams will be provided access to email or telephonic mental health consultation and coaching from an ODMHSAS consultant.

BACKGROUND: FY22 MDTs were implemented in OKCPS. FY23 MDTs were revised to encompass a broader approach to ensure students' basic needs in all support areas were represented. - analyze this process for 2.0 to be a larger scale process incorporating triage and monitor for all tiered support services as all are inter-related and impact each others’ positive outcomes (needs implementation plan 23-24)
Implement BISS, Behavioral Intervention Support Services, providing on site Behavioral Health Aides, full Wraparound Services, and Intensive Care Coordination with individualized behavioral plans for top Tier 3 students with complex behavioral health or Co Occurring needs (based on assessment).
Consider co-located behavioral health clinic(s), particularly for students who may benefit from on-site services.

Implement the SPARCS Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress in school groups for students in Tier 2, ages 10-18.
BACKGROUND: FY22 SPARCS groups were implemented in OKCPS; there were 14 staff trained that partnered together and led 12 groups 8 staff were trained with 22 groups led in Middle and High Schools.
Implement Strengthening Families Program, Celebrating Families Program for students and their families in Tiers 2 and 3; provided by trained facilitators as a multi-week evening program.
STATUS: Nurturing Parenting is a possible contender as replacement for this program
Implement Seeking Safety for Tier 3 students age 13–18 with challenging behaviors as an alternative to exclusionary practices, provided by behavioral health provider.

Provide brief treatment (short term) interventions provided by school social workers, counselors and social services staff using CBT+ Coping Skills/Psychoeducation (ODMHSAS trained) for students in Tier 2.
