Classen School of Advanced Studies at Northeast Social Studies Department believes that learning does not stop when the school year ends. Summer provides students with an opportunity to continue developing the habits of mind that lead to academic success: reading critically, thinking deeply, solving problems, and engaging with new ideas. Research consistently shows that students who remain intellectually active during the summer return to school better prepared and more confident, while those who disengage often lose important skills and momentum.
