Across all high schools, including traditional, alternative and application campuses, students have access to pathways in high-demand industries, creative arts, STEM disciplines, and public service including:
Advanced Technology and Academics: Students can expect to master high-demand technical skills in the Engineering or Biotechnology pathway, or pursue rigorous university preparations through Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and concurrent enrollment.
Career & Professional Program: Students can expect to gain work-ready skills and leave with industry credentials in high-need career fields that include Healthcare, Advanced Manufacturing, Aviation, Cybersecurity, Construction, and many more.
Visual & Performing Arts: Whether it is behind the camera or on the stage, students can expect to perfect their skills and build their confidence in disciplines including instrumental or vocal music, Theatre, Dance, Visual Art, and many more.
Public Service & Leadership: Students engaging in a JROTC, Education, Leadership, or Law and Public Service pathway can expect to build confidence through courses designed for students driven to lead communities, shape public policy, and champion social change.
Many pathways are offered in partnership with Metro Technology Center, with select programs requiring completion at Metro Tech campuses. OKCPS College & Career Center pathways and new offerings for 2026-2027 expand access to innovative, hands-on learning environments across the district.
To deepen readiness for college and career, students are encouraged to complete at least one postsecondary opportunity, such as:
Advanced Placement or concurrent enrollment courses
Internships
CTE-recognized capstone course
JROTC leadership development
