About Resource

Students in the resource specialist program (RSP) are in a general education class for the majority of their day. The goal of the program is to help students succeed in the general education environment by teaching them effective learning strategies and supplementing the curriculum with resources and tools.

Cloverland's resource program consists of both push-in and pull-out learning models. The push-in model provides instruction and support inside the general education classroom. The pull-out model offers instruction in a smaller setting, outside the general education classroom. RSP students who are pulled out of their classrooms receive small group interventions and support at their academic levels.

The RSP program has two part time instructional assistants who are trained to support students with learning differences. The RSP team works closely together with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure all students receive the help needed to fully access the general education curriculum.
