Learning Expectations

Student Expectations

Elementary Students will participate in synchronous and asynchronous learning.

A standard schedule has been developed to deliver instruction with common time allotments across all grade levels. Lesson development will include guided and independent practice components in order to differentiate instruction. The following are general expectations for all elementary students:

  • Check daily posts in Google classroom from your teachers.

  • Log into their Google Meet for Morning Meeting at the scheduled times.

  • Complete learning activities for each class by the date identified by the teacher.

  • Establish a learning space at home in a public area. As much as possible this space should be: dedicated to learning, clean, organized with all the tools/items needed for learning, and free from distractions.

  • Students should use recorded sessions for instructional purposes only; recorded sessions are not to be uploaded to other sites or used for any purpose other than review of instruction.

  • Follow the expectations established by the school and your teachers. Proper behavior and interaction with each other at all times is necessary for a productive learning environment. See student handbook and Code of Conduct.
