Band Lessons 2023-2024
Hello OJR Families!
I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer and that the kids are excited for school again this year! With that being said, I wanted to share some information with you in regard to band lessons for this upcoming school year.
1. Please read through the following letter, which explains band lessons for this year. After reading, please complete the Lesson Agreement with your child.
2. I will be updating this website frequently with important information: announcements, lesson schedules, and materials needed for lessons. Please refer to it often.
3. For weekly reminders, I will be sending emails home the night before your child's lesson. If you would like me to update/include any emails, please let me know.
4. All students have been invited to join my Google Classroom. This will be mainly used for sharing information and sending announcements directly to students. Cyber students will access the Google Meet link located on Google Classroom for lessons. Please remind your child to accept my invitation.
5. Lessons start date: All Band students will begin lessons during the 2nd cycle of school.

Lesson Books
If your child needs our lesson book Measures of Success, please contact Menchey to order a copy for use in lessons. A Menchey representative will deliver it to the school once purchased. You can also purchase it on your own through websites such as Amazon.com. Please make sure your child has his/her book for lessons.
If your child is finishing Book 1, please order Book 2 so that he/she can continue to progress.
